CCF holds a variety of Christian activities every week. All our events are conducted in cantonese.

Weekly Public Meeting 

- This is our weekly meeting held on Friday. This is our main gathering where the community of Christ' disciples who speak cantonese can come together and celebrate his lordship in the university. Here you can meet other cantonese Christians or hear guest speakers talk on contemporary topics. Newcomers are very welcome!  

Time: 1 - 2:30 pm

Location: Carslaw Building, Room 250

After the public meeting, the majority of CCFer would head off to Wentworth Building level 4 to have lunch together.  So feel free to stick around for an lunch as well as fellowship.

Cell Groups

- CCF Cell groups are where you can meet a group of about 8 weekly for support and learning the Word of God for us. SUCCF 2010 have seen a radical change in cell group structure. We no longer fix a time for people to walk in, but we invite you to sign up with us so we can assign a cell group slot for you. You don't need to suit yourself to us, but we to you! 

This semester our bible study theme is on "Christian community on campus".

 Week 1-3: Outreach (PIC Candy)

We are inviting everyone to join us in a wave of outreach into the university. This will mostly be in the form of partnered walk-up to speak with people about Jesus, but we will also be doing some poster-ing. 

(How you can help: Sign up with Candy for walk-up evangelism. It doesn't matter if you have no experience, we will partner you with someone who has experience. It is a rare opportunity to learn this sort of thing!)

Week 4: Combined gathering (PIC tentatively Carol)

The gathering at the end of last semester was GREAT, and we want to do it again this semester. At this stage we have not confirmed the details but most likely it will be in the form of a dinner gathering. 

(How you can help: We need some suggestions on what to do exactly and to organize arrangements. )

21/8: 死.旅途.生 (PIC Patrick)

An evangelistic drama performed by DrEAM. CCF is excited to go together as a fellowship and bring along with us those who want to hear the gospel. Right now all we know is that entry is free and it is at night on 21/8 at Bondi Junction. Most likely we will meet earlier at a gathering point and go together.

(How you can help: We need people to help with promoting this event in Uni. Maybe some postering.)

Week 8: AGM (PIC Matthias)

We have our annual general meeting in week 8 where we elect the committee members for next year. This is a really important event in need of much prayer and wisdom. 

(How you can help: Pray and see if you would like to volunteer yourself to commit to God's ministry on campus.)

Mid sem-break: Thanksgiving Dinner (PICs Elton, Ruby)

We hope to build up this semester's worth of events to this final celebration at the Thanksgiving Dinner. Traditionally it is a time of touching sharing, thanksgiving and fellowship. This will be during a weekday in the mid semester break between week 9 and 10. The exact time and place are unconfirmed, but will likely be either a Wednesday or Thursday night at the city.

(How you can help: Lot of manpower is needed to run this event, whether musicians, catering, PowerPoint or whatever. Just volunteer yourself and we are sure to be able to find you something to do. )
