Tshirt Front

There is only one design for the front of the Tshirt
 
Design's explanation:
這圖案是以一棵樹作為藍本的. (請大家不要誤以為是抄襲某運動牌子的三葉圖案.) 樹上的三個心型圖案, 大家可以把他們當作樹幹也好, 樹枝也好, 樹根也好, 就算是花也可以. 但千萬不要把他們當作樹葉. 因為他們不是.

而左右兩旁的心, 純粹是襯托一下. 當然也可以代表我們CCF的弟兄姊妹很有心..

而圖案上的十架, 可以當作樹葉或者種子. 簡單的說就是我們在到處傳福音. 而且並不是只在樹下(比喻在教會(CCF)內), 甚至是像蒲公英般飛向外傳福音.

Tshirt Back  

There are currently three applicants for the back of the tshirt.  The first two were submitted by the designer of the front of the Tshirt while another CCF designer only submitted a design for the back of the tshirt because the front of the 1st design was very good.

1) Picture on the top: God is the loving ruler of the world.He made the world.
He made us rulers of the world under him. 
2) Picture to the right: We all reject the ruler- God- by trying to run a life our own way without him.But we fail to rule ourselves or society or the world. 
3) Lower right picture:God won’t let us rebel forever.God’s punishment for rebellion is death and judgment. 
4) Lower left picture:Because of his love, God sent his Son into the world the man Jesus Christ. Jesus always lived under God’s rule. Yet by dying in our place he took our punishment and brought forgiveness. 
5) Picture to the left: God raised Jesus to life again as the ruler of the world.Jesus has conquered death, now gives new life, and will return to judge.  
6) Centre picture:This represents the path that CCFer’s have chosen. The surrounding circle of images (as explained above) basically represents the fundamentals of our faith and what we believe in.    

Design Purpose

1.      Make it easier for evangelical purposes by using the series of pictures as a guideline.
2.      Christians will recognise that this is from 2 ways to live
3.      Non-christians will be interested in the images and perhaps ask about SUCCF
4.      The characters are sheep because sheep and shepherds are mentioned 247 times in the Bible and God is our shepherd.
5.      There are 7 sheep because 7 is one of the most significant numbers in the bible: 7 is used over 700 times in the bible, particularly in the book of Revelations where it is mentioned 54 times.
6.      Purple because it’s a royal colour, when Jesus died he was also wearing purple.
7.      The sheep goes with the sheep on this year’s program card.

How to vote

There are two polls to vote for:

1) Do you prefer one of the new SUCCF tshirt designs or you really like the current Tshirt?

2) For the back of the tshirt, do you prefer Design A, Design A (alternative) or Design B?

Please vote only once per person, and vote for what you want (not what your friend wants).

Chinese Chess Competition

Congratulations to the Friday Team consisting of Matthias, Alex, Markus and Sang on winning the Inter-Cell Chinese Chess competition of Semester 1 2009 which took place on Friday 5th June. A full arbiter's report along with results and the crosstable can be found here.

Easter Gathering

I think Easter Gathering was a huge success with great bonding within each of the cells.  Bicentennial park is such a beautiful place that I cannot believe that 30 years ago it was a rubbish dump.  The weather was great for a day in the park.

 The 2nd newsletter from our brother Hiu Fung, reporting from the Doulos, is now available.  Either collect a hard copy off Candy at Friday Meeting or download the softcopy

Welcome Night is Over

Welcome Night was a huge success; we had a large number of newcomers as well a several graduates of SUCCF turning up on the night.  I hope everyone had fun.    Here are the group photos from the night (click the picture to zoom in)

Due to the number of videos that i recorded on the night; I have just added a video section.  I have uploaded the shortest videos directly to the website's server.  The longer videos I have uploaded onto youtube.  Tell me if you think there are other videos worth sharing through the net.

With Welcome Night over, this means our next major gathering will be Easter Gathering with the promotion video by Tyrone and Rollin over in the new video section.  

SUCCF O-week

The 1st semester of 2009 is almost upon us and that also means that USYD's o-week is also approaching which is on 25th to 27th of February. As a club of Sydney Uni, SUCCF will be holding a stall during O-week.

SUCCF's stall can be found along Eastern Avenue, pretty close to the new law building which is right next to Fisher library. The number of our stall is no.71. Just look out for the letters CCF and our white SUCCF Banner on the store. Alternatively look out for our members indicated with our green SUCCF Tshirt and ask them for the location of the store,

EDIT: We had a very successful O-week as we managed to outreach to a large number of Cantonese speaking Students at Sydney University. I hope that we can make your time at Sydney Uni an enjoyable and a memorable one.

Thanksgiving Dinner 2008

Towards the end of the 2008 academic year, our 2008 weekly program has also come to an end.  

However, we will continue to have summer gatherings in Sydney and Hong Kong! (yay!! ) So make sure that you have let us know where you'll be during the summer holidays, and we'll keep you updated about our gatherings. If you haven't done so, you may contact us via email.

Also, check out for news early next year because we will have our stall at O-week as usual! You are welcome to visit our stall. The weekly program for 2009 will be up early next year too.

JCCF E-camp

感謝神, Semester break 既 JCCF 福音營—理想點—十分成功!! 總共有大概120人報名參加。

o係camp入面, 有雷牧師講道, 有drama, 有見證分享, 有敬拜, 有九型人格分析等等... 其中一樣最深刻既莫過於個主題遊戲!

主題遊戲o係四日三夜裏面都有持續舉行, 模擬左我地既人生, 由細細個成長到出黎社會賺錢, 經歷生老病死, 遊戲最後我地每個都得到好寶貴既訊息。

最後一日, 大家都又唱又跳, 好興奮咁敬拜主! 

Camp入面都有其他唔同既program, 有感動落淚既, 有開心好玩既, 亦都有發人深省既... 我地可以認識倒唔同大學裏面既朋友, 最開心既就係睇倒好多歸主新加入我地大家庭既弟兄姊妹!!

呢d真係唔能夠一下子o係度盡錄! 所以如果你地想知多d, 可以睇下一期出既刊物「驛站」, 同埋黎CCF問下有去到camp既朋友, 我地都好樂意去同你分享!

Easter Gathering

感謝神!
SUCCF 2008年的第二個event - Easter gathering 已經o係3月27號, Rhodes 的Mcllwaine Park 舉行啦! 大家當日玩得開唔開心呢???  
再一次感謝大家的支持同出席, 仲有神豐富的預備, 令果日所有活動同遊戲都可以順利完成, 仲有個咁靚咁舒服既天氣添!!! =)
